The location is a handy 20 minutes outside Cork City, and the house overlooks the Bandon river which makes for a stunning setting for a summer wedding. “We got married in Inishannon last June and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough! The house itself is gorgeous and gives a lovely homely feel to the occasion. In addition to this, the stunning gardens overlooking the river was the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos. Margaret and Shane were very easy to deal with, open to suggestions when it came to the planning of the day. A special mention to Karen (the wine connisseour!) who also kept the show running, she couldn’t have been more helpful! 

Our food was AMAZING!!!!! It was obvious that it was cooked to order and served straight from pan to plate. The feedback from all our guests was that it was outstanding. As two wannabe-foodies we couldn’t have been happier! 

We had 140 guests and while the venue does have limited accommodation, Kinsale with it’s many hotels and bnbs is close by. If you choose Inishannon as your wedding venue, you absolutely won’t regret it. Our only complaint is that we don’t get to do it all again this summer!!!!!”
